The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arkın Tunçbay during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arkın Tunçbay hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match İbrahim Efe Oker sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Azmi Onural skillfully saved the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Sadikköy SK's Gencay Öktuğ sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Azmi Onural narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, Sadikköy SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İbrahim Efe Oker to maneuver through the defense. If Coşkun Sanbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute Ahmet Tolga Akçiçek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilla Bilgehan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Tolga Akçiçek was the one to do the kick off. Gencay Öktuğs short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Azmi Onural to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Coşkun Sanbay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atilla Bilgehan having to make a save. 63 minutes into the match, Sadikköy SK's Vefa İnanöz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Azmi Onural narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coşkun Sanbay in the 67th minute of play forced Sadikköy SK's goalkeeper Atilla Bilgehan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Kalamis FK booed when Sadikköy SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkın Tunçbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Sadikköy SK's Gencay Öktuğ nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Azmi Onural made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some careless play in the Sadikköy SK defense, Ahmet Tolga Akçiçek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atilla Bilgehan. The Sadikköy SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atilla Bilgehan should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Sadikköy SK's zone, Coşkun Sanbay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilla Bilgehan came out of the goal and Coşkun Sanbay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atilla Bilgehan came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Kalamis FK's Ahmet Tolga Akçiçek. But to his dismay, Ahmet Tolga Akçiçek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
