Mazhar Tolunbay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yenikapi FK. Oğuzalp Teksoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Artun Kemal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 16 minutes, Mücahit Şenal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yenikapi FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mücahit Şenal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Yenikapi FK fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Yenikapi FK's Artun Kemal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mazhar Tolunbay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mücahit Şenal's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Artun Kemal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mazhar Tolunbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazhar Tolunbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mücahit Şenal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cafer Çanak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balamir Sehriyar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ali Macit Baykoca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balamir Sehriyar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Cafer Çanak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saphane fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half Saphane were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Balamir Sehriyar to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Yenikapi FK's Ali Macit Baykoca got control of the ball when Cafer Çanak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Balamir Sehriyar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Saphane's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 65th minute, Saphane's Balamir Sehriyar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Ali Macit Baykoca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cafer Çanak in the 68th minute. İldeniz Elmacıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 79thth minute of the game Mücahit Şenal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saphane's Mazhar Tolunbay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Mücahit Şenal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mazhar Tolunbay was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 83 minutes into the game, Abdi Saygın Cebel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saphane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yenikapi FK the free kick. Abdi Saygın Cebel hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Mazhar Tolunbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artun Kemal, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute Balamir Sehriyar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Macit Baykoca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Yenikapi FK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. İldeniz Elmacıoğlu hit a great ball. If Cafer Çanak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Yenikapi FK's Reşit Haseki got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th match minute, Yenikapi FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anıl Mazlum to maneuver through the defense. When Güray Semail came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Saphane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güray Semail couldn't finish the play. The Saphane players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
