After 7 minutes, Armağan Ortanca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maslak and the Ovacik players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rıdvan Kayansel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Berk Tokcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ovacik's supporters rose to their feet, but Berk Tokcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özkan Vahdettin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Enis Behiç Ünlüsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ayhan Baytugay fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maslak's protests and gave Ayhan Baytugay a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ovacik booed when Maslak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayhan Baytugay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovacik's Bozkurt Nurkan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Maslak. In the 18th minute, Rıdvan Kayansel made a precise shot to the right of Özkan Vahdettin. Maslak's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Enis Behiç Ünlüsoy notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ovacik's Güvenç Sanat. Güvenç Sanat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Birsel Okbudun kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Rıdvan Kayansel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ayhan Baytugay hit a great ball. With a little luck, Ovacik's Güvenç Sanat got control of the ball when Enis Behiç Ünlüsoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Özkan Vahdettin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berk Tokcan in the 43rd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Enis Behiç Ünlüsoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Güvenç Sanat having to make a save. Maslak's Özkan Vahdettin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şeray Taci in the 55th minute of play.
