Berat Tokdemir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nusret Mansur in the 13th minute of play. If Cevdet Gayret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. Ömür Erem hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Şenel Torum scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Berat Tokdemir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Berat Tokdemir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şenel Torum in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Nusret Mansur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Şenel Torum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berat Tokdemir having to interfere. A collision led to Boyabat getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mustafa Emrah Oykan hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes, Aksehir's Hüseyin Rahmi Yazıcı shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tayyar Müftüoğlu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aksehir reached it. Cevdet Gayret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayyar Müftüoğlu having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hüsnü Ünverdi was the one to do the kick off. When Cevdet Gayret came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Aksehir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cevdet Gayret couldn't finish the play. Tayyar Müftüoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüsnü Ünverdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Yasin Attar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayyar Müftüoğlu having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Gökberk Ünlüol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Şenel Torum got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cevdet Gayret recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gökberk Ünlüol hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match.
