After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Şenel Torum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boyabat's supporters rose to their feet, but Şenel Torum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Müfit Pamiroğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 19 minutes, Şenel Torum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boyabat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şenel Torum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kahta's Müfit Pamiroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nusret Mansur in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Boyabat's goalkeeper Tayyar Müftüoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Boyabat's zone, Hayrullah İnegöllü stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayyar Müftüoğlu came out of the goal and Hayrullah İnegöllü tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Hayrullah İnegöllü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayyar Müftüoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hayrullah İnegöllü's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tayyar Müftüoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Kahta's Müfit Pamiroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nusret Mansur in the 33rd minute of play. Hayrullah İnegöllü recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boyabat's goalkeeper Tayyar Müftüoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tayyar Müftüoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yusuf Bahadır Aşkıner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Hayrullah İnegöllü made the kick off in the second half. Nusret Mansur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Müfit Pamiroğlu having to make a save. In the 57th minute, Baran Alp Adıvar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gökberk Ünlüol's late challenge caught a Kahta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gökberk Ünlüol helped the player get up and apologised. Gökberk Ünlüol kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Yusuf Bahadır Aşkıner kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Hayrullah İnegöllü came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Kahta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hayrullah İnegöllü couldn't finish the play. Nusret Mansur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müfit Pamiroğlu having to interfere. Yusuf Bahadır Aşkıner's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Tayyar Müftüoğlu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hayrullah İnegöllü was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cahit Ağcabey kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Tayyar Müftüoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yusuf Bahadır Aşkıner in the 86th minute. Ahmet Haşim İzzettin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayyar Müftüoğlu having to interfere. Mustafa Emrah Oykan kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
