Cemal Evliya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erdoğan Helvacıoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bayram Üzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Erdoğan Helvacıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cemal Evliya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, Balya FK's Erdoğan Helvacıoğlu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cemal Evliya was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Balya FK's zone, Derya Gencer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ömer Hızlan came out of the goal and Derya Gencer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sezai Özok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sezai Özok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mengen's Cemal Evliya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erdoğan Helvacıoğlu in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Çelebi Ergazi in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cemal Evliya saved Mengen from getting behind. After 37 minutes, Battal Seyyit Cumali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mengen and the Balya FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Balya FK booed when Mengen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Battal Seyyit Cumali didn't get a good kick on the ball. Derya Gencer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ömer Hızlan having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sezai Özok in the 53rd minute of play forced Balya FK's goalkeeper Ömer Hızlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cemal Evliya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çelebi Ergazi in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Derya Gencer made a precise shot to the right of Ömer Hızlan. Balya FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Balya FK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ahmet Haşim Belen hit a great ball. Ömer Hızlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sezai Özok went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Çelebi Ergazi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balya FK's Erdoğan Helvacıoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Balya FK's Erdoğan Helvacıoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cemal Evliya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cemal Evliya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erdoğan Helvacıoğlu in the 89th minute. Çelebi Ergazi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çelebi Ergazi in the 95th minute of play forced Mengen's goalkeeper Cemal Evliya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Çelebi Ergazi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balya FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Çelebi Ergazi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cemal Evliya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mengen had won after a very even match.
