Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tuncer Ağaverdi got the match started through his kick off. Tuncer Ağaverdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Arslan Regaip got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 14 minutes, Tuncer Ağaverdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iskenderun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tuncer Ağaverdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Adapazari fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Adapazari's Samet Erkılınç looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ahmet Ali Başkurt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Barbaros Baytüzün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ahmet Ali Başkurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Adapazari's Haluk Uğurlubay got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Tuncer Ağaverdi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aşkın Beysun was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Aşkın Beysun came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Iskenderun's Tuncer Ağaverdi. But to his dismay, Tuncer Ağaverdi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Aşkın Beysun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuncer Ağaverdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Ali Başkurt in the 42nd minute of play forced Iskenderun's goalkeeper Barbaros Baytüzün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cankut Oyum's late challenge caught a Iskenderun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cankut Oyum helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Adapazari's Cankut Oyum got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Ali Başkurt to make the kick off. After 56 minutes of play, Adapazari's Samet Erkılınç made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barbaros Baytüzün was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66thth minute of the game Ahmet Ali Başkurt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iskenderun's Barbaros Baytüzün was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Barbaros Baytüzün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samet Erkılınç, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Ahmet Ali Başkurt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Barbaros Baytüzün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 minutes of play, Adapazari's Samet Erkılınç made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barbaros Baytüzün was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ahmet Ali Başkurt struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Barbaros Baytüzün didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adapazari. When Muhsin Mikail fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iskenderun's protests and gave Muhsin Mikail a yellow card for diving instead. Muhsin Mikail kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match Bektaş Ali Geylani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barbaros Baytüzün skillfully saved the ball. Barbaros Baytüzün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Ali Başkurt in the 95th minute of play. Samet Erkılınç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Barbaros Baytüzün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Adapazari fans cheered their team off the field, for while Iskenderun had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
