Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Talas booed when Iskenderun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Bilge Bedih didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aziz Rafet succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 8th playminute. Arslan Regaip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Talas's zone, Arslan Regaip stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özgür Şahinter came out of the goal and Arslan Regaip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doğuş Asıf kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Talas's Gürel Utkan tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Mürsel Tolay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doğuş Asıf hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Adem Alkın fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Barbaros Baytüzün, passed just outside the right post. Adem Alkın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Barbaros Baytüzün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barbaros Baytüzün made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Aziz Rafet sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 33 minutes, Arslan Regaip managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iskenderun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arslan Regaip was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute Affan Akbaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barbaros Baytüzün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adem Alkın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barbaros Baytüzün having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Adem Alkın made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Iskenderun's Tuncer Ağaverdi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 63rd minute, Arslan Regaip ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Özgür Şahinter was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adem Alkın in the 67th minute of play forced Iskenderun's goalkeeper Barbaros Baytüzün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
