Karsiyaka's players were relieved. After having played for 6 minutes, Yetkin Yelmen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bozdogan FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yetkin Yelmen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Karsiyaka getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ertuğrul Satılmış hit a great ball. The supporters of Karsiyaka booed when Bozdogan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onur Namık didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Nafiz Zeyyat during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yetkin Yelmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bulut Aktemur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naci Duyar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes, Neşat Akçay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bozdogan FK and the Karsiyaka players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bozdogan FK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Neşat Akçay hit a great ball. Baykal Ozansu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Yetkin Yelmen sped through Karsiyaka's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Volkan Uca. Naci Duyar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bulut Aktemur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Ertuğrul Satılmış's late challenge caught a Bozdogan FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ertuğrul Satılmış helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Karsiyaka's Ertuğrul Satılmış got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bican Tanbey to make the kick off. Bican Tanbey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Bulut Aktemur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute of the match, Naci Duyar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bulut Aktemur was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Volkan Uca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baykal Ozansu in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Karsiyaka's Ilgaz Tümerkin got a free kick in the 58th minute. 1-3 became the score in the 62nd minute when Bican Tanbey elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yetkin Yelmen in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Volkan Uca saved Karsiyaka from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Yetkin Yelmen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bozdogan FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 81 minutes into the match, Baykal Ozansu notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Karsiyaka's Volkan Uca. Volkan Uca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bican Tanbey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Bulut Aktemur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bozdogan FK's Yetkin Yelmen got a free kick in the 87th minute. Karsiyaka's Naci Duyar got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bican Tanbey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
