Beşir Nadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 5 played minutes Boyabat got a freekick which was hit by Mevlüt Toregün. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Cengizhan Taki got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 12 minutes into the game, Cevizlibag's Adnan Akmeşe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ayberk Bircan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Başaran Özakan in the 15th minute of play forced Boyabat's goalkeeper Ayberk Bircan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adnan Akmeşe struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Ayberk Bircan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cevizlibag. Sungurhan Tolgunay charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sungurhan Tolgunay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21stth minute of the game Adnan Akmeşe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boyabat's Ayberk Bircan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cengizhan Taki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adnan Akmeşe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ayberk Bircan having to make a save. Cevizlibag's Affan Çakar got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cengizhan Taki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Beşir Nadi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Demircan Yesar was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adnan Akmeşe got free with Ayberk Bircan in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute Cengizhan Taki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demircan Yesar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Başaran Özakan in the 70th minute of play forced Boyabat's goalkeeper Ayberk Bircan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adnan Akmeşe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayberk Bircan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Başaran Özakan in the 96th minute of play forced Boyabat's goalkeeper Ayberk Bircan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Boyabat fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cevizlibag had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
