In the 4th minute Cengizhan Taki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nurtekin Abay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beşir Nadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Nurtekin Abay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nurtekin Abay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beşir Nadi in the 10th minute of the match. When Beşir Nadi came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Boyabat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beşir Nadi couldn't finish the play. Uğurcan Torlak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ayberk Bircan. Boyabat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cengizhan Taki struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Nurtekin Abay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boyabat. After a rather tough play, Sürmene JK's Baha Keçili got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ahmet Gündüz Baysal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayberk Bircan having to interfere. Ayberk Bircan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enginalp İlmen in the 39th minute. 41 minutes in the game, Ahmet Gündüz Baysal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ayberk Bircan having to interfere. In the 46th minute Ahmet Gündüz Baysal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayberk Bircan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Mevlüt Toregün was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boyabat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sürmene JK the free kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Gündüz Baysal made a kick off. If Enginalp İlmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayberk Bircan came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Sürmene JK's Enginalp İlmen. But to his dismay, Enginalp İlmen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Beşir Nadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Sürmene JK booed when Boyabat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osman Askeroğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cengizhan Taki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cengizhan Taki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nurtekin Abay having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sürmene JK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Boyabat had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
