Alpay Oruk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuri Bayer in the 6th minute of play. Ali Kürşat Orkan kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Meriç Uraltan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hızır Varan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 12th minute, Uluç İlkutay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuri Bayer in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alpay Oruk saved Karkamis from getting behind. Karkamis's Alpay Oruk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuri Bayer in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karkamis's goalkeeper Alpay Oruk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Kozluk getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Buğrahan Ubeydullah hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Karkamis's Zikri Kutlucan tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Hızır Varan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Meriç Uraltan, 2-0. In the 39th minute Nuri Bayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alpay Oruk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Hızır Varan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karkamis's supporters rose to their feet, but Hızır Varan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Meriç Uraltan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eralp Cihanmert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Nuri Bayer made the kick off in the second half. Alpay Oruk made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Eralp Cihanmert sent off a good shot on target. Eralp Cihanmert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Eralp Cihanmert came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Kozluk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eralp Cihanmert couldn't finish the play. Nuri Bayer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Alpay Oruk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vacid Vefik lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 69th minute, Vacid Vefik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Zikri Kutlucan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karkamis's supporters rose to their feet, but Zikri Kutlucan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Meriç Uraltan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Önder Mahşer fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kozluk's protests and gave Önder Mahşer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Önder Mahşer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes in the game, Hızır Varan dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 74th minute Mehmet Halis Koyak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meriç Uraltan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eralp Cihanmert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karkamis's Hızır Varan got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sabri Pınarbaşı kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Mehmet Halis Koyak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meriç Uraltan having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kozluk's zone, Mehmet Halis Koyak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meriç Uraltan came out of the goal and Mehmet Halis Koyak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Hızır Varan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Meriç Uraltan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hızır Varan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kozluk's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
