Musabeyli's Naci Ayaydın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sercan Doğu in the 4th minute of play. Tahsin Özkutlu charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tahsin Özkutlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Side:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Musabeyli:s goal. The referee gave Musabeyli a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ramiz Musa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Side's Sefa Erdursun. 0-1. Musabeyli's Naci Ayaydın proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Musabeyli from getting a goal against them. After 14 minutes, Atabek Balıkçıoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Side and the Musabeyli players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Musabeyli booed when Side was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atabek Balıkçıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cemalettin Yalçuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cemalettin Yalçuk in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sefa Erdursun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Side's Mustafa Kemal Mukaddes got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 27 minutes, Fazlı Çetiner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Musabeyli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fazlı Çetiner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sadri Demir kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Mustafa Kemal Mukaddes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Sercan Doğu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Side's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sercan Doğu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Sadri Demir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Side's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Musabeyli the free kick. The supporters of Musabeyli booed when Side was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sadri Demir didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Fazlı Çetiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sefa Erdursun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fazlı Çetiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sercan Doğu made a kick off. Naci Ayaydın stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sercan Doğu's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Fazlı Çetiner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Musabeyli's supporters rose to their feet, but Fazlı Çetiner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sefa Erdursun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cemalettin Yalçuk got free with Sefa Erdursun in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yalçın Sağbilge hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sercan Doğu in the 66th minute of play forced Musabeyli's goalkeeper Naci Ayaydın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cemalettin Yalçuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sefa Erdursun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cemalettin Yalçuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cemalettin Yalçuk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sefa Erdursun having to make a save. With a little luck, Side's Sefa Erdursun got control of the ball when Erman Süngü tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atabek Balıkçıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Musabeyli's Ramiz Musa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Atabek Balıkçıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute.
