After a rather tough play, Gevas's Okaner Kortan got a free kick in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Vefa Akalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gevas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Günyüzü JK the free kick. In the 20th minute Mustafa İzzet Akgüngör shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emir İstikbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Gevas's goal looked a bit too open when Reşat Bican came free, but Emir İstikbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Habib Uğur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 31 in the game by Habib Uğur from a close distance when the talented Erbatur Ensar managed to make a qualified save. Günyüzü JK's players were relieved. Erbatur Ensar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habib Uğur, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Günyüzü JK's Erbatur Ensar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Uğur in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Günyüzü JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şener Gülle to maneuver through the defense. When Işık Gagauz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 40 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Erbatur Ensar was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Reşat Bican had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Habib Uğur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Erbatur Ensar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Habib Uğur made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Melih Türeli got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emir İstikbal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 67 minutes into the game, Işık Gagauz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Erbatur Ensar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute, Mustafa İzzet Akgüngör got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emir İstikbal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reşat Bican in the 74th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Günyüzü JK's zone, Işık Gagauz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erbatur Ensar came out of the goal and Işık Gagauz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Işık Gagauz came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Gevas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Işık Gagauz couldn't finish the play. Habib Uğur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erbatur Ensar having to interfere. Habib Uğur struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Erbatur Ensar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gevas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reşat Bican in the 88th minute of play forced Gevas's goalkeeper Emir İstikbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Günyüzü JK's Erbatur Ensar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Uğur in the 95th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
