In the 13th match minute, Dokuma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şükrü Balkanlıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Okanalp Levent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abidin Oğurata, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Arif Gaffar Tanyel's late challenge caught a Dokuma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arif Gaffar Tanyel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Erzurum SK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Arif Gaffar Tanyel hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes, Erzurum SK's Balaban Özaslan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Samim Ulusu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Erzurum SK reached it. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Abidin Oğurata made the kick off in the second half. Samim Ulusu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yıldırım Coşkun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Mümtazer Özgunay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Okanalp Levent. Erzurum SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mümtazer Özgunay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Samim Ulusu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alpertunga Tezer. A collision led to Erzurum SK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Balaban Özaslan hit a great ball. Nuh Talik hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute of the match Ediz Tunçtürk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Okanalp Levent skillfully saved the ball. Nuh Talik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Samim Ulusu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samim Ulusu made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Ali Çağrı İmruz sent off a good shot on target. If Ali Çağrı İmruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ali Çağrı İmruz scored 1-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samim Ulusu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abidin Oğurata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th match minute, Dokuma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediz Tunçtürk to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
