In the 11th minute Alkan Tuncer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nazmi İsmihan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Cat SK got a freekick which was hit by Şanver Demirkan. Gani Zeynelabidin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Nazmi İsmihan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gani Zeynelabidin scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nazmi İsmihan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aykan Başarman got free with Hadi Pınarbaşı in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aykan Başarman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Hadi Pınarbaşı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Aykan Başarman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cat SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Aykan Başarman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hadi Pınarbaşı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cat SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Anıl Berk Özalpman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hadi Pınarbaşı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Ziya Onur Uruz made the kick off in the second half. Şanver Demirkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Hadi Pınarbaşı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aykan Başarman in the 53rd minute of the match. Gani Zeynelabidin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cat SK's Nazmi İsmihan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziya Onur Uruz in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match, Ziya Onur Uruz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nazmi İsmihan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Ziya Onur Uruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gani Zeynelabidin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Nazmi İsmihan made a huge save. Aykan Başarman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Hadi Pınarbaşı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ziya Onur Uruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cat SK's zone, Gani Zeynelabidin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nazmi İsmihan came out of the goal and Gani Zeynelabidin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ziya Onur Uruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Nazmi İsmihan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Gani Zeynelabidin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nazmi İsmihan. Cat SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gani Zeynelabidin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Cat SK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Edirne's performance. The match ended with a win for Edirne.
