The supporters of Cakirlar SK booed when Dikmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulhamit Tugay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Nuh Gülsoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dikmen's Bayındır Tengiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nuh Gülsoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bayındır Tengiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökhan Yasin in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bayındır Tengiz saved Dikmen from getting behind. After 40 minutes, Erkut Çidam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cakirlar SK and the Dikmen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kamer Erginer to make the kick off. Cakirlar SK's Dündar Hanbeyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mücahit Kırca in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dikmen's Hidayet Kuntman got a free kick in the 57th minute. Dikmen's Bayındır Tengiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuh Gülsoy in the 60th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Dikmen's corner Ensar Yasık fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dündar Hanbeyi quite easily take care of the ball. Nuh Gülsoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
