In the 18th minute, Mümin Reca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cevat Birtan charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cevat Birtan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Hasan Tahsin Alp managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Levent's Mümin Reca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gafur Safvetullah in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bulut Tarab saved Levent from getting behind. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mümin Reca couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Bahcesaray FK's Hasan Tahsin Alp got control of the ball when Mümin Reca tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Ergincan Hallaçoğlu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hasan Tahsin Alp. The goal made the score 1-0. A collision led to Bahcesaray FK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mustafa Oğuz Hatip hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
