Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Yüksel Ercan came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Karapürcek SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yüksel Ercan couldn't finish the play. Anıl Ciner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ahmet Danış Özatay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Yesilyurt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Günay Ceceli to maneuver through the defense. After 18 minutes, Yüksel Ercan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karapürcek SK and the Yesilyurt players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tarkan Yalaza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersan Ergunalp in the 42nd minute of play. With a little luck, Yesilyurt's Tarkan Yalaza got control of the ball when Yüksel Ercan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anıl Ciner scored 0-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Danış Özatay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Yesilyurt were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Ersan Ergunalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarkan Yalaza having to interfere. When Enis Behiç Semavi fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yesilyurt's protests and gave Enis Behiç Semavi a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Karapürcek SK a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Battal Akadlı, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Yesilyurt's Tarkan Yalaza. 1-1. In the 72nd minute, Tekin Nurbaki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Battal Akadlı sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Yesilyurt's Tarkan Yalaza didn't even have to move.
