Bozkurt Başar made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ali Ömer Gökdoğan sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ali Ömer Gökdoğan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candir's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Ömer Gökdoğan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bozkurt Başar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hayyam Akkoyun in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saltuk Ünek saved Candir from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Esentepe's Rüknettin Sunay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saltuk Ünek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gürel Balkoç charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gürel Balkoç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Esentepe's Gürel Balkoç got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 38 minutes of play, Esentepe's Hayyam Akkoyun made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saltuk Ünek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saltuk Ünek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayyam Akkoyun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The supporters of Esentepe booed when Candir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaman Tolgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Candir's Saltuk Ünek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayyam Akkoyun in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Candir's goal looked a bit too open when Hayyam Akkoyun came free, but Saltuk Ünek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ali Ömer Gökdoğan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ensar Kiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bozkurt Başar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Esentepe getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Çelebi Bakırcıoğlu hit a great ball. Rüknettin Sunay struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Saltuk Ünek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esentepe. Rüknettin Sunay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saltuk Ünek having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Saltuk Ünek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 90th minute Ali Ömer Gökdoğan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bozkurt Başar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ensar Kiner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candir's supporters rose to their feet, but Ensar Kiner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bozkurt Başar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
