Ergün Ersavaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Günay Biçim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mümtazer Ulucan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enginalp Seyidhan in the 33rd minute of play. Bayezit Şükran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günay Biçim having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Erzincan's goal looked a bit too open when Ergün Ersavaş came free, but Günay Biçim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özalp Kutan to strike the kick off in the second half. Borcka FK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
