Özmen Ergenç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Sivasli's Anıl Baran Uğurhan got control of the ball when Samir Bircan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Serbülent Akyüz kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sivasli's Behçet Ruhittin got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Keles's goalkeeper Kartal Mukerrem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gökcan İbrahimoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Kartal Mukerrem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kartal Mukerrem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökcan İbrahimoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Akşemseddin Necat charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Akşemseddin Necat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sivasli getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Akşemseddin Necat hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Keles's goal looked a bit too open when Feridun Satuk came free, but Kartal Mukerrem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Özmen Ergenç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 40 minutes, Serbülent Akyüz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sivasli and the Keles players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sivasli getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Serbülent Akyüz hit a great ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Gökcan İbrahimoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sivasli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökcan İbrahimoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Keles's Samir Bircan got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
If Feridun Satuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 minutes of play, Sivasli's Gökcan İbrahimoğlu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kartal Mukerrem was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samir Bircan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Baran Uğurhan having to interfere. Anıl Baran Uğurhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özmen Ergenç, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Sivasli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Keles the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sivasli's Duman Toregün got a free kick in the 88th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Sivasli's Feridun Satuk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kartal Mukerrem narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
