Gökçek Bakırcıoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Numan Okdemir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Asım Gökkuşağı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reşit Tatar in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Kubat Selim made a precise shot to the right of Ali Numan Okdemir. Tarabya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökçek Bakırcıoğlu in the 21st minute of play forced Tarabya's goalkeeper Ali Numan Okdemir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Numan Okdemir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kubat Selim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Derik JK fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Derik JK's Kubat Selim looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 27 minutes into the match, Derik JK's goal looked a bit too open when Tevfik Songur came free, but Asım Gökkuşağı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökçek Bakırcıoğlu in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Numan Okdemir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Tarabya's goal looked a bit too open when Gökçek Bakırcıoğlu came free, but Ali Numan Okdemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Numan Okdemir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökçek Bakırcıoğlu in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Reşit Tatar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarabya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reşit Tatar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Derik JK's Gökçek Bakırcıoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Numan Okdemir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Kubat Selim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gökçek Bakırcıoğlu was the one to do the kick off. Derik JK's Kubat Selim got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aysan Akdağ hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 54 played minutes Gökçek Bakırcıoğlu rounded Tarabya's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Asım Gökkuşağı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tevfik Songur, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Yahya Çinuçin during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tarabya getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ahmet Yahya Çinuçin hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Tarabya's goal looked a bit too open when Gökçek Bakırcıoğlu came free, but Ali Numan Okdemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kubat Selim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Tarabya's Ali Numan Okdemir got control of the ball when Kubat Selim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gökçek Bakırcıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ali Numan Okdemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Derik JK's Erenay Haznedaroğlu got a free kick in the 84th minute. Tevfik Songur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gökçek Bakırcıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
