An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulaş Kasım in the 4th minute of play forced Izmirspor SK's goalkeeper Abdülhak Özkent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If İsmail Cem Balım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İsmail Cem Balım came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emrah Tanju could save by the left post. İsmail Cem Balım could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Emrah Tanju made a huge save. After having played for 17 minutes, Ulaş Kasım managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kabatas SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulaş Kasım was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Izmirspor SK's İsmail Cem Balım nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emrah Tanju made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Emrah Tanju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erkan Tayfur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Izmirspor SK's Ahmet Oğuz Akdemirci shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Emrah Tanju but with some difficulty. Fazıl Gümüşsoy kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ulaş Kasım fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdülhak Özkent having to interfere. If İsmail Cem Balım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erkan Tayfur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İsmail Cem Balıms short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Emrah Tanju to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ulaş Kasım made the kick off in the second half. Emrah Tanju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsmail Cem Balım, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the game, Uğur Semir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kabatas SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Izmirspor SK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kabatas SK's Uğur Semir got a free kick in the 56th minute. Suphi Elçin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Abdülhak Özkent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erkan Tayfur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emrah Tanju having to interfere. In the 71stth minute of the game Ulaş Kasım who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Izmirspor SK's Abdülhak Özkent was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If İsmail Cem Balım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Erkan Tayfur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emrah Tanju was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some careless play in the Kabatas SK defense, İsmail Cem Balım kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emrah Tanju. The Kabatas SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emrah Tanju should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute, Ulaş Kasım got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emrah Tanju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erkan Tayfur in the 91st minute of the match. İsmail Cem Balım sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Izmirspor SK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kabatas SK for a fine match.
