Adnan Sertaçgil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Zafer Serdengeçti made a huge save. Peyami Bağdaş hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Zafer Serdengeçti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tamer Acaroğlu in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alican İlmen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eyüpspor's goalkeeper Zafer Serdengeçti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ege Tümerk made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Alkın Gümüşcüoğlu sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Musabeyli's goalkeeper Ege Tümerk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Birsel Tekay's late challenge caught a Eyüpspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birsel Tekay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, Musabeyli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birsel Tekay to maneuver through the defense. Eyüpspor's Yahya Kemal Öztanır shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ege Tümerk but with some difficulty. After 91 played minutes Musabeyli got a freekick which was hit by Birsel Tekay. Ege Tümerk made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Alkın Gümüşcüoğlu sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Eyüpspor walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
