Zafer Serdengeçti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferhat Akşin in the 3rd minute of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Alkın Gümüşcüoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eyüpspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alkın Gümüşcüoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sinan Sağman kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Ferhat Akşin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zafer Serdengeçti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Caner Adıvar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kurtulus SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Caner Adıvar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zafer Serdengeçti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Alperen Türker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caner Adıvar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ferhat Akşin struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Zafer Serdengeçti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurtulus SK. After 25 played minutes Eyüpspor got a freekick which was hit by Arda Yener. If Alperen Türker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurtulus SK's Yusuf Ziya Erbaş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Kurtulus SK from getting a goal against them. Caner Adıvar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zafer Serdengeçti having to make a save. Ayhan Vala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zafer Serdengeçti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferhat Akşin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alkın Gümüşcüoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferhat Akşin to make the kick off. Alperen Türker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Yusuf Ziya Erbaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Alperen Türker notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Kurtulus SK's Yusuf Ziya Erbaş. Yusuf Ziya Erbaş was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Behram Üner charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Behram Üner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kurtulus SK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Behram Üner hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the game, Ayhan Vala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kurtulus SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eyüpspor the free kick. After 66 played minutes Kurtulus SK got a freekick which was hit by Ayhan Vala. In the 67thth minute of the game Alperen Türker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kurtulus SK's Yusuf Ziya Erbaş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sinan Sağman charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sinan Sağman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eyüpspor's Zafer Serdengeçti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferhat Akşin in the 71st minute of play. Zafer Serdengeçti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caner Adıvar in the 73rd minute. Peyami Bağdaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eyüpspor's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
