The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Mut FK booed when Düzköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eralp Lokman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Mut FK's goalkeeper Fahri Özinan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baykal Hicran. After 9 minutes, Nusrettin Ulutekin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Düzköy and the Mut FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nusrettin Ulutekin kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When Baykal Hicran came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Düzköy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baykal Hicran couldn't finish the play. If İsmail Cem Ispartalı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mirkelam Özak hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Düzköy's Ozan Karhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necaettin Sakman in the 19th minute of play. Eralp Lokman's late challenge caught a Mut FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eralp Lokman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Düzköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eralp Lokman to maneuver through the defense. Baykal Hicran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fahri Özinan having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İsmail Cem Ispartalı in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fahri Özinan saved Mut FK from getting behind. Baykal Hicran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. İsmail Cem Ispartalı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fahri Özinan having to interfere. When Baykal Hicran came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Düzköy fans jumped to their feet. After having played for 47 minutes, Burhan Zoral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mut FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burhan Zoral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 52 minutes, Mirkelam Özak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Düzköy and the Mut FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mut FK booed when Düzköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirkelam Özak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mirkelam Özak tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Ozan Karhan. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burhan Zoral in the 59th minute of play forced Düzköy's goalkeeper Ozan Karhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Düzköy's zone, Necaettin Sakman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ozan Karhan came out of the goal and Necaettin Sakman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Necaettin Sakman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ozan Karhan having to interfere. Necaettin Sakman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Ozan Karhan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 69th minute, İsmail Cem Ispartalı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Necaettin Sakman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ozan Karhan made a huge save. The supporters of Düzköy booed when Mut FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yağızalp Sanih didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Baykal Hicran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Mut FK's Ozan Karhan threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Burhan Zoral, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
