Ahmet Tolga Baştugay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ant Çubuk kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Tahsin Şerhenk charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tahsin Şerhenk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pamukkale SK booed when Sivas JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tahsin Şerhenk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sivas JK's goalkeeper Ahmet Tolga Baştugay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Akgün Cangun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levent Revnak in the 62nd minute of the match. If Ahmet Hakan Sezgen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Pamukkale SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Hakan Sezgen came free, but Akgün Cangun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pamukkale SK were furious when Ömür Tufan was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. In the 88thth minute of the game Salih Özkutsal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pamukkale SK's Akgün Cangun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
