In the 12th match minute, Saskinbakkal JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kerimhan Uluçkan to maneuver through the defense. Mehmet Ferit Taze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdal Tolga, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Lütfü İbrahimoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Elbeyli SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lütfü İbrahimoğlu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yahya Kemal Refet in the 30th minute of play forced Saskinbakkal JK's goalkeeper Enginalp Özaslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aycan Koytak during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Saskinbakkal JK's Aycan Koytak got a free kick in the 30th minute. Elbeyli SK's Mehmet Ferit Taze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Elbeyli SK from getting a goal against them. Hıdır Mithats short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Mehmet Ferit Taze to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Yahya Kemal Refet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yahya Kemal Refet to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Saskinbakkal JK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ali Faruk Yeğiner hit a great ball. When Yahya Kemal Refet came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Elbeyli SK fans jumped to their feet. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Enginalp Özaslan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Saskinbakkal JK defense, Yahya Kemal Refet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enginalp Özaslan. The Saskinbakkal JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enginalp Özaslan should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Faruk Yeğiner in the 65th minute of play forced Elbeyli SK's goalkeeper Mehmet Ferit Taze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Elbeyli SK's Faik Ulukan got a free kick in the 65th minute. Enginalp Özaslan came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Elbeyli SK's Lütfü İbrahimoğlu. But to his dismay, Lütfü İbrahimoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Elbeyli SK getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Şahin Dilsafa hit a great ball. Genco Gilşah, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hıdır Mithat struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Mehmet Ferit Taze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saskinbakkal JK. Erdal Tolga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Elbeyli SK's zone, Hıdır Mithat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Ferit Taze came out of the goal and Hıdır Mithat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, Saskinbakkal JK's Erdal Tolga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehmet Ferit Taze narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
