An unexpectedly hard shot by Burhan Pekin in the 5th minute of play forced Tokatspor's goalkeeper Kenan Hepyener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Kahta SK's Burhan Pekin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenan Hepyener made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Yusuf Ziya Öztarhan's late challenge caught a Tokatspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yusuf Ziya Öztarhan helped the player get up and apologised. If Hakkı Deniz Ekemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Korcan Dilhun fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 18th minute, Hakkı Deniz Ekemen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kahta SK's goalkeeper Tayyip Hicab, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Tokatspor's Hakkı Deniz Ekemen, in the 26th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Tokatspor. Korcan Dilhun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 played minutes Kahta SK got a freekick which was hit by Şansal İşcan. Kahta SK's Şansal İşcan got his second yellow card of the match in the 36th minute. The referee ordered Şansal İşcan off the ground. The supporters of Tokatspor booed when Kahta SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şansal İşcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Yusuf Ziya Öztarhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenan Hepyener saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenan Hepyener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emran Özinan in the 45th minute of play. Korcan Dilhun struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Tayyip Hicab didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tokatspor. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Hakkı Deniz Ekemen came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Tokatspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hakkı Deniz Ekemen couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Tokatspor's goalkeeper Kenan Hepyener had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emran Özinan. A collision led to Kahta SK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Yusuf Ziya Öztarhan hit a great ball. Hakkı Deniz Ekemen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tayyip Hicab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakkı Deniz Ekemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Korcan Dilhun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tokatspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Korcan Dilhun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tayyip Hicab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the game, Yusuf Ziya Öztarhan lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Kenan Hepyener. Tayyip Hicab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakkı Deniz Ekemen in the 86th minute of the match. Tayyip Hicab stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hakkı Deniz Ekemen's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Hakkı Deniz Ekemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Kahta SK's goal looked a bit too open when Korcan Dilhun came free, but Tayyip Hicab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Kahta SK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
