In the 17th minute of the match Sertel Göçer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alparslan Uslu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mehmet Edip Uyguner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celil Beysan having to interfere. When Rıfat Sefik fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kofcaz's protests and gave Rıfat Sefik a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Osmangazi. Sertel Göçer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alparslan Uslu. 0-2. Batıkan Hancı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osmangazi's Celil Beysan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Edip Uyguner in the 29th minute of play. Celil Beysan made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Baybora Reşit sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st match minute, Osmangazi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zekeriya Kocakalp to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Kofcaz's Hüseyin Cahit Yiğiter got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 62nd minute, Zekeriya Kocakalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, Baybora Reşit cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Celil Beysan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baybora Reşit in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celil Beysan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osmangazi's Celil Beysan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baybora Reşit in the 71st minute of play. The Osmangazi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Osmangazi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
