Yozgat's Kutay Ergüç suffered a concussion in the 13th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Şansal Ersavaş charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şansal Ersavaş the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Şansal Ersavaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Volkan Ergüden hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hıncal Tuyan in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reis Saik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the game, Hıncal Tuyan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Reis Saik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baskın Ünsev hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Türkeş Tugay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baturay Taygar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Mehmet Hakkı Veziroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hıncal Tuyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reis Saik having to interfere. Güney Taşcıoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Güney Taşcıoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Güney Taşcıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olur's Reis Saik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Olur from getting a goal against them. If Hasan Hüseyin Gültekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Feridun Yavuzalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Baturay Taygar made a huge save. Hıncal Tuyan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Hakkı Veziroğlu in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baturay Taygar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Baturay Taygar made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Mehmet Hakkı Veziroğlu sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute of the match Olur got a corner. Yozgat's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Volkan Ergüden ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 68th minute, Lütfü Acarbey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 69 played minutes Yozgat got a freekick which was hit by Baskın Ünsev. Hıncal Tuyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reis Saik having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lütfü Acarbey in the 77th minute of play forced Olur's goalkeeper Reis Saik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hasan Hüseyin Gültekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yozgat getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Cem Dağtekin hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Yozgat players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
