But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sabri Bilgetay couldn't finish the play. Güney Rasih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akgün Sadi in the 75th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Bünyan's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Hamdi Özaltay came free, but Mustafa Yaşar Uygu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabri Bilgetay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güney Rasih having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Sabri Bilgetay fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akgün Sadi in the 91st minute of play forced Tavas JK's goalkeeper Güney Rasih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bünyan played a much better game than Tavas JK and deserved their victory. The Tavas JK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
