The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Necdet Sabuncu during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Poligom getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Necdet Sabuncu hit a great ball. Bahattin Güleç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabahattin Server in the 16th minute. If Sabahattin Server had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sabahattin Server sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kadir Dursunali in the 25th minute of play forced Sirkeci's goalkeeper Furkan Metehan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, Sirkeci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kıvanç Beysan to maneuver through the defense. Furkan Metehan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürol Şükür in the 31st minute of the match. Ahmet Korcan Mazlum kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Kadir Dursunali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Furkan Metehan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ahmet Nasir Nesil made the kick off in the second half. If Bahadır Nasuh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 minutes of play Poligom's Necdet Sabuncu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Sirkeci booed when Poligom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Necdet Sabuncu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bahattin Güleç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Nasir Nesil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Furkan Metehan made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Kadir Dursunali sent off a good shot on target. In the 70thth minute of the game Ahmet Nasir Nesil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poligom's Bahattin Güleç was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rüstem Hamurcu's late challenge caught a Poligom's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rüstem Hamurcu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Sirkeci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rüstem Hamurcu to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes Sirkeci got a freekick which was hit by Atacan Demiralp. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sirkeci's goalkeeper Furkan Metehan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Nasir Nesil kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Sabahattin Server managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sirkeci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabahattin Server was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
