The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Behiç Yöntem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Halil Utku Kartay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Behiç Yöntem, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Halil Utku Kartay came out of the goal and Behiç Yöntem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Behiç Yöntem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Eynesil JK's Neşat Hüryaşar fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Neşat Hüryaşar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Halil Utku Kartay made a huge save. If Yılmaz Övünç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Yılmaz Övünç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Neşat Hüryaşar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. Eynesil JK's Engin Başhekim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yılmaz Övünç in the 30th minute of play.
