Ahmet Gökalp Şahbazoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balmumcu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kıvanç Müşfik in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Gökalp Şahbazoğlu saved Kovancilar JK from getting behind. Salih Köksan scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Gökalp Şahbazoğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kıvanç Müşfik who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Ahmet Gökalp Şahbazoğlu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Kovancilar JK's Remzi Reşan got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Salih Köksan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Batu Naşit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayyam Erçevik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remzi Reşan hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Kovancilar JK's Adil Aynacıoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hayyam Erçevik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batu Naşit in the 39th minute of the match. Adil Aynacıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bican Tülün fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balmumcu's protests and gave Bican Tülün a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute of the match Ahmet Gündüz Tokuş sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hayyam Erçevik skillfully saved the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Kıvanç Müşfik made the kick off in the second half. Balmumcu's Bican Tülün got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Bican Tülün off the ground. The supporters of Kovancilar JK booed when Balmumcu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bican Tülün didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Balmumcu's Hayyam Erçevik got control of the ball when Adil Aynacıoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahmet Gökalp Şahbazoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salih Köksan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kıvanç Müşfik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Gökalp Şahbazoğlu having to make a save. Adil Aynacıoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Hayyam Erçevik made a huge save. With a little luck, Balmumcu's Hayyam Erçevik got control of the ball when Adil Aynacıoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line.
