Balmumcu's Hayyam Erçevik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaan Avcı in the 2nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Balmumcu's Abdulbaki Tanbek got a free kick in the 10th minute. Kıvanç Müşfik struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Mustafa Anıl Şahinalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balmumcu. If Tolga Tümen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Derik's Mehmet Hakkı Ihlamur got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Kıvanç Müşfik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Salih Köksan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Ediz Başkur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salih Köksan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Anıl Şahinalp having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Derik's zone, Salih Köksan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Anıl Şahinalp came out of the goal and Salih Köksan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustafa Anıl Şahinalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salih Köksan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Derik booed when Balmumcu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragıp Okutan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tolga Tümen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Salih Köksan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Kaan Avcı made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Balmumcu getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ragıp Okutan hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Balmumcu's goal looked a bit too open when Kaan Avcı came free, but Hayyam Erçevik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes Derik got a freekick which was hit by Yalçın Topçay. When Mustafa Ekrem Öktem fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Derik's protests and gave Mustafa Ekrem Öktem a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Derik! In the 68th minute, Yalçın Topçay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kıvanç Müşfik struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Mustafa Anıl Şahinalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balmumcu. When Salih Köksan came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Balmumcu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salih Köksan couldn't finish the play. If Kıvanç Müşfik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salih Köksan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
