Kumlu's Mustafa Barış Değirmenci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anıl Arda Tanzer in the 13th minute of play. Mustafa Barış Değirmenci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Utku İribaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Kumlu's Hızır Ushan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reis Kazakhan. Reis Kazakhan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Utku İribaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Elbeyli's Anıl Arda Tanzer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Barış Değirmenci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Anıl Arda Tanzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hurşit Tara to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Elbeyli got a freekick which was hit by Tan Aydemir. In the 56th minute Utku İribaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Barış Değirmenci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Barış Değirmenci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Utku İribaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Elbeyli walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
