Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arif Gaffar Veysi got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Selman Rehber fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Songurbey Balaban, passed just outside the right post. If Selman Rehber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Balat's zone, Ali Numan Güzir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Songurbey Balaban came out of the goal and Ali Numan Güzir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Songurbey Balaban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Numan Güzir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arif Gaffar Veysi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veli Doğan having to interfere. Duran Sefer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Balat booed when Gerger SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berk Geylan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gerger SK's Behram Ceri got a free kick in the 21st minute. Güralp Temirkut charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Güralp Temirkut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Selman Rehber fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Songurbey Balaban, passed just outside the right post. Güralp Temirkut was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Güralp Temirkut hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Hüseyin Can Saim from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Songurbey Balaban's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 33rd minute of the match Münir Dündaroğlu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Songurbey Balaban skillfully saved the ball. Ali Numan Güzir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Songurbey Balaban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veli Doğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duran Sefer, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Ali Numan Güzir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Selman Rehber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Songurbey Balaban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Songurbey Balaban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Numan Güzir in the 42nd minute of play. Ali Numan Güzir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Songurbey Balaban having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Selman Rehber got free with Songurbey Balaban in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 47 played minutes Balat got a freekick which was hit by Emirşah Vakkasoğlu. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Numan Güzir made a kick off. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Balat! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Selman Rehber in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Songurbey Balaban saved Balat from getting behind. In the 88th minute Ali Numan Güzir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Songurbey Balaban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes Gerger SK got a freekick which was hit by Münir Dündaroğlu. In the 92nd minute of the match Ahmet Hasan Tanalp shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Veli Doğan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Duran Sefer came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Balat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duran Sefer couldn't finish the play. In the 98th match minute, Balat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercüment Serhan to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gerger SK had won after a very even match.
