A collision led to Kiziltepe FK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Engin Akyel hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tutak's zone, Zühtü Kayrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gazi Mahçup came out of the goal and Zühtü Kayrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cihangir Nusrettin during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes, Tutak's Mustafa Emrah Ergök shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Atilla Bumin Ramazanoğulları came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tutak reached it. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Gazi Mahçup successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Olcay Orkun Tekcan charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olcay Orkun Tekcan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tutak getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Olcay Orkun Tekcan hit a great ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kiziltepe FK's goalkeeper Atilla Bumin Ramazanoğulları, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zühtü Kayrak in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gazi Mahçup, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cengizhan Yiğit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gazi Mahçup having to interfere. When Cihan Bilgetay fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tutak's protests and gave Cihan Bilgetay a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kiziltepe FK booed when Tutak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihan Bilgetay didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cengizhan Yiğit to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Tutak got a freekick which was hit by Olcay Orkun Tekcan. When Zühtü Kayrak came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Kiziltepe FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zühtü Kayrak couldn't finish the play. Reha Okseven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilla Bumin Ramazanoğulları had great luck who in the 60thth minute grab hold of the ball when Cihan Bilgetay from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Zühtü Kayrak struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Gazi Mahçup didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kiziltepe FK. A collision led to Tutak getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Zülfü Mertkal hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Engin Akyel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Tutak's Mustafa Emrah Ergök broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Reha Okseven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Atilla Bumin Ramazanoğulları made a huge save. Gazi Mahçup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zühtü Kayrak in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Kiziltepe FK's Zühtü Kayrak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gazi Mahçup made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Cengizhan Yiğit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gazi Mahçup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zühtü Kayrak in the 92nd minute of play. Yaman Neşit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reha Okseven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tutak's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
