Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Remzi Keçecioğlu started the match with the kick off. Mustafa Necati Açıker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remzi Keçecioğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When Merter's Mustafa Orhan Kızılaslan in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Divrigi's goalie prevented a goal. In the 9th minute, Tekin Argün got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th match minute, Divrigi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Metin Süleymanoğlu to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Muhittin Türünk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Divrigi's supporters rose to their feet, but Muhittin Türünk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Necati Açıker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Remzi Keçecioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muhittin Türünk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Mustafa Necati Açıker made a huge save. 19 minutes into the game, Gazi Demirsah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Divrigi the free kick. After a rather tough play, Merter's Gazi Demirsah got a free kick in the 19th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Remzi Keçecioğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Divrigi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remzi Keçecioğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Metin Süleymanoğlu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Şenol Üstek didn't quite understand what happened when in the 23 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Divrigi's Zeynel Dokuzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tekin Argün in the 25th minute of play. Muhittin Türünk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Necati Açıker having to interfere. Mustafa Orhan Kızılaslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Necati Açıker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remzi Keçecioğlu in the 34th minute of play. Tekin Argün recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Divrigi's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Orhan Kızılaslan came free, but Zeynel Dokuzer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Merter's Tekin Argün sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zeynel Dokuzer narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mustafa Orhan Kızılaslan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tekin Argün could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Zeynel Dokuzer made a huge save. If Mustafa Orhan Kızılaslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Necati Açıker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhittin Türünk in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Orhan Kızılaslan in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeynel Dokuzer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Songurhan Orkutay's late challenge caught a Merter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Songurhan Orkutay helped the player get up and apologised. Songurhan Orkutay kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Tekin Argün recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 70 played minutes Merter got a freekick which was hit by Hilmi Özgulec. After some careless play in the Merter defense, Remzi Keçecioğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Necati Açıker. The Merter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Necati Açıker should have stopped the shot. Muhittin Türünk struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Mustafa Necati Açıker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Divrigi. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Zeynel Dokuzer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Divrigi booed when Merter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gazi Demirsah didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Merter's goal looked a bit too open when Muhittin Türünk came free, but Mustafa Necati Açıker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tekin Argün could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Zeynel Dokuzer made a huge save.
