Şerif Sökmensu came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Sahilevleri's Veysel Biçimli. But to his dismay, Veysel Biçimli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Şahin Belge hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Gümüshane's Başar Ege sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osman Nuri Erşahin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hakkı Kenan Yaşer charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hakkı Kenan Yaşer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sahilevleri getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Hakkı Kenan Yaşer hit a great ball. Şahin Belge kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 32 minutes, İsmet Refah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sahilevleri and the Gümüshane players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sahilevleri getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. İsmet Refah hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Gümüshane were awarded a corner. Eser Üstek went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Eser Üstek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sahilevleri's Osman Nuri Erşahin did a great save. Eser Üstek hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Osman Nuri Soysal made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gazanfer Cevizoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şerif Sökmensu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 57th minute, Osman Nuri Soysal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 58 minutes, Gazanfer Cevizoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sahilevleri and the Gümüshane players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gazanfer Cevizoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Gencal Akgündüz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osman Nuri Erşahin. Sahilevleri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gencal Akgündüz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After 65 played minutes Gümüshane got a freekick which was hit by Şahin Belge. In the 66thth minute of the game Birsel Baybars who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gümüshane's Şerif Sökmensu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Gümüshane getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Nuh Salih hit a great ball. Şerif Sökmensu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birsel Baybars, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute Birsel Baybars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şerif Sökmensu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Naim Tokalp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osman Nuri Erşahin skillfully saved the ball. Birsel Baybars blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Şerif Sökmensu having to make a save. In the 91st minute Birsel Baybars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şerif Sökmensu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gencal Akgündüz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Osman Nuri Erşahin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hakkı Kenan Yaşer kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sahilevleri had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
