Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Onurhan Eroğlu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Birsel Baybars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çelebi Yalazabey having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Kovancilar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Onurhan Eroğlu to maneuver through the defense. İsmet Refah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Birsel Baybars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çelebi Yalazabey having to interfere. Hasret Secavend took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osman Nuri Erşahin. Osman Nuri Erşahin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sahilevleri's Osman Nuri Erşahin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasret Secavend in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Başar Hüryaşar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sahilevleri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kovancilar the free kick. The supporters of Kovancilar booed when Sahilevleri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Başar Hüryaşar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Ozan Geylanlar might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osman Nuri Erşahin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Ozan Geylanlar ran back to his position shaking his head. Başar Hüryaşar hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Hasret Secavend managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kovancilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hasret Secavend was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hasret Secavend to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ahmet Ozan Geylanlar notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sahilevleri's Osman Nuri Erşahin. Osman Nuri Erşahin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 57 minutes into the match, Hasret Secavend dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Osman Nuri Erşahin, 0-3. Osman Nuri Erşahin made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Ahmet Ozan Geylanlar sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Sahilevleri's Başar Hüryaşar got a free kick in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hasret Secavend in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osman Nuri Erşahin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gazanfer Cevizoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sahilevleri's zone, Ahmet Ozan Geylanlar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osman Nuri Erşahin came out of the goal and Ahmet Ozan Geylanlar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Sahilevleri's goal looked a bit too open when Hasret Secavend came free, but Osman Nuri Erşahin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kovancilar getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Tarkan Iğdırlı hit a great ball. Hidayet Saim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hasret Secavend sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdulaziz Canaydin during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sahilevleri booed when Kovancilar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulaziz Canaydin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Birsel Baybars managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sahilevleri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birsel Baybars was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osman Nuri Erşahin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hasret Secavend, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 91 minutes, Hidayet Saim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kovancilar and the Sahilevleri players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kovancilar getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Hidayet Saim hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Sahilevleri's goalkeeper Osman Nuri Erşahin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Ozan Geylanlar. When the match was over Kovancilar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sahilevleri throughout the match.
