Hasret Secavend sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Şerif Sökmensu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hasret Secavend's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Gencal Akgündüz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Ozan Geylanlar in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şerif Sökmensu saved Gümüshane from getting behind. If Gencal Akgündüz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hidayet Saim charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hidayet Saim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Kovancilar got a freekick which was hit by Hidayet Saim. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osman Nuri Soysal in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Çelebi Yalazabey saved Kovancilar from getting behind. 41 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Kovancilar's Hasret Secavend fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Şerif Sökmensu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasret Secavend in the 44th minute of the match. Gündüz Ekşioğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gündüz Ekşioğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Kovancilar got a freekick which was hit by Gündüz Ekşioğlu. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osman Nuri Soysal to make the kick off. Hasret Secavend's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şerif Sökmensu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Gümüshane's Şerif Sökmensu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasret Secavend in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasret Secavend in the 55th minute of play forced Gümüshane's goalkeeper Şerif Sökmensu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Ozan Geylanlar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Şerif Sökmensu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Ozan Geylanlar struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Şerif Sökmensu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kovancilar. In the 60th match minute, Gümüshane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şahin Belge to maneuver through the defense. If Ahmet Ozan Geylanlar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gümüshane's zone, Hasret Secavend stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şerif Sökmensu came out of the goal and Hasret Secavend tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Başar Ege kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ahmet Ozan Geylanlar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Şerif Sökmensu made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Gümüshane's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hasret Secavend fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Abdulaziz Canaydin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Şerif Sökmensu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gümüshane's Şerif Sökmensu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasret Secavend in the 81st minute of play. Çelebi Yalazabey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gencal Akgündüz in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kovancilar's Hidayet Saim got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Gencal Akgündüz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Gencal Akgündüz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Kovancilar's Çelebi Yalazabey. Çelebi Yalazabey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hasret Secavend was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Kovancilar's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 93rd minute, Başar Ege hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gümüshane had won after a very even match.
