Giray Sani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birsel Baybars, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Birsel Baybars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giray Sani having to interfere. Osman Nuri Erşahin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gazanfer Cevizoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Sulusaray got a freekick which was hit by Çağdaş Özaltuğ. If Birsel Baybars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Birsel Baybars stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 60 minutes, Bilge Tezveren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sulusaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bilge Tezveren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Veysel Biçimli got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Sahilevleri booed when Sulusaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keramettin Resul didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gazanfer Cevizoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sahilevleri booed when Sulusaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reha Avşar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birsel Baybars recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sahilevleri's goalkeeper Osman Nuri Erşahin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 89 minutes, Hakkı Kenan Yaşer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sahilevleri and the Sulusaray players grew even worse after the yellow card.
