After taking down the ball on Kale's corner Ata Yazıcı fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zülfikar Saru quite easily take care of the ball. Zafer Tuğalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Zülfikar Saru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Altuğ Korucu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Atakan Çokman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atakan Çokman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Kale's Necdet Onar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayezit Ugraş in the 84th minute of play. Zülfikar Saru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atakan Çokman in the 89th minute of the match. If Atakan Çokman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
