Zaid Özerdem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atakan Çokman in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Kale's goal looked a bit too open when İsrafil Atasagun came free, but Necdet Onar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Naci Akburç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Necdet Onar was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. If Atakan Çokman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kuzguncuk JK's zone, Atakan Çokman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zaid Özerdem came out of the goal and Atakan Çokman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Zafer Tuğalp came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Kale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zafer Tuğalp couldn't finish the play. Seyhun Tarab hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Ata Yazıcı's late challenge caught a Kuzguncuk JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ata Yazıcı helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Kale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ata Yazıcı to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Kuzguncuk JK's Burak Doğangün tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Necdet Onar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İsrafil Atasagun in the 30th minute of play. When Kale's Zafer Tuğalp in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kuzguncuk JK's goalie prevented a goal. Kuzguncuk JK's Zaid Özerdem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atakan Çokman in the 39th minute of play. With a little luck, Kale's Necdet Onar got control of the ball when Kaan Ulus tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Kale booed when Kuzguncuk JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. İsrafil Atasagun didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İsrafil Atasagun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Kuzguncuk JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdulhamit Hayal to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Kale's Refik Halit Doğanay tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Kale's Zafer Tuğalp got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ertaç Cilasun kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute Kaan Ulus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necdet Onar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaid Özerdem acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abdulaziz Yönet. After a rather tough play, Kuzguncuk JK's Selçuk Kaşif got a free kick in the 67th minute. Atakan Çokman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zaid Özerdem having to interfere. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
