The audience was convinced that Artaç Yücel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bedih İnan was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Cahit Mengüalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mücahitler JK's Artaç Yücel got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arda Baybars Sayfi's late challenge caught a Mücahitler JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arda Baybars Sayfi helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Siteler JK got a freekick which was hit by Arda Baybars Sayfi. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Talat Sunay made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Siteler JK defense, Artaç Yücel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bedih İnan. The Siteler JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bedih İnan should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute Talat Sunay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cevdet Boğataş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Talat Sunay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cevdet Boğataş was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, Mücahitler JK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Çağrı Ulucağ came free, but Cevdet Boğataş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artaç Yücel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Bedih İnan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cahit Mengüalp charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cahit Mengüalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes Mücahitler JK got a freekick which was hit by Cahit Mengüalp. After 83 minutes, Ekber Ökmen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Siteler JK and the Mücahitler JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Siteler JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ekber Ökmen to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Musa Reha in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bedih İnan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arda Baybars Sayfi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevdet Boğataş having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mücahitler JK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
