In the 12th minute, Oğuzcan Tolun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vecdet Hezarfen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaynarca FK's Arif Nihat Ülger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamber Zirve in the 19th minute of play. Hazar Özsevi kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Vecdet Hezarfen might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Halim Haliloğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vecdet Hezarfen ran back to his position shaking his head. Kamber Zirve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Kaynarca FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kamber Zirve came free, but Arif Nihat Ülger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vecdet Hezarfen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hasret Cesur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Halim Haliloğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vecdet Hezarfen in the 52nd minute of the match. When Ahmet Hayri Özge fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Köycegiz's protests and gave Ahmet Hayri Özge a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kaynarca FK booed when Köycegiz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Hayri Özge didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 minutes Köycegiz's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Atalan Ufuk who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Kaynarca FK's Atalan Ufuk to fire away a dangerous shot which Halim Haliloğlu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eşref Tercan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Nihat Ülger having to interfere. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Köycegiz's goalkeeper Halim Haliloğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ertunç Balkır hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Vecdet Hezarfen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes of play Kaynarca FK's Hazar Özsevi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 78th minute, Hazar Özsevi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vecdet Hezarfen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Halim Haliloğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kaynarca FK's zone, Eşref Tercan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Nihat Ülger came out of the goal and Eşref Tercan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
