Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bünyamin Vefakar got the match started through his kick off. Batu Cem Tanyol made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Cankut Kaveloğlu sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Bünyamin Vefakar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Birecik SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bünyamin Vefakar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Batu Cem Tanyol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baran Aybar during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dargecit booed when Birecik SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baran Aybar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Dargecit's Hasan Hüseyin Gülsoy broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Batu Cem Tanyol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bünyamin Vefakar's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Derya Iğdırlı hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Cankut Kaveloğlu struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Batu Cem Tanyol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Birecik SK. After having played for 23 minutes, Bünyamin Vefakar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birecik SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bünyamin Vefakar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 24 played minutes Dargecit got a freekick which was hit by Hasan Hüseyin Gülsoy. If Cankut Kaveloğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute of the match Yaser Aras sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Umut Yavuzalp skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Gazi Tunçkol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dargecit's supporters rose to their feet, but Gazi Tunçkol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umut Yavuzalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bünyamin Vefakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Güvenç Safa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Muhittin Direnç scored 0-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Umut Yavuzalp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute, Muhittin Direnç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Olcay Tanyel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Umut Yavuzalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhittin Direnç in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 75th minute, Cankut Kaveloğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Birecik SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Muhittin Direnç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Umut Yavuzalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhittin Direnç in the 83rd minute of play. When Gazi Tunçkol came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Dargecit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gazi Tunçkol couldn't finish the play. Dargecit's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
